I have used wordpress for setting up quick sites for several years. If you want an easy to use CMS then wordpress is the best place to start. Instead of using the basic yoursite.wordpress.com domain I suggest you buy your own domain and your own web hosting as you will get better results in the search engines. Not a tip for the beginner, but very useful for those wanting to take that extra step
