How to get your website listed on Google and Yahoo in 24 hours |
When I started my first website, 8 years ago, I had no idea what I was doing as far as getting on the top search engines is concerned. I even fell for one of those stupid submit your website to 100 top search engines companies. What ever you do…do not, I repeat do not sign up for these submission companies. It took me 3 months to figure out that you needed backlinks to your website in order to be found by the search engines. This is the only way to get found by Google and Yahoo bots. These bots check already indexed websites for new content and links. If you have your link on an indexed site, the bots will follow the link to find your website.
Some people will tell you it takes 2-3 weeks to get indexed. This is not true. I recently created 2 websites and with my method I was able to get both indexed within 24 hours. Here’s how easy it is.
Sign up for accounts on the following social networking sites:
www.digg.com
www.propeller.com
www.Slashdot.org
www.Furl.net
www.bibsonomy.org
www.Newsvine.com
www.Mister-wong.com
After you signup, start submitting content to the sites with links to your new website. It will take you roughly 15 minutes to signup and post on all these sites. Posting on the 8 websites above SHOULD get you indexed quickly.
For good measure, you might want to also submit your website to a few others like:
Connotea.org
Mixx.com
Thoof.com
Folkd.com
Backflip.com
Technorati.com
Reddit.com
Del.icio.us
All the websites I listed in this post are frequently searched by the search engine bots. Some of the bigger sites are visited every hour. Getting a link on all these sites will insure that your site is indexed quickly.
Have fun and good luck posting!

You might want to add using forum signatures to this list, I have had great luck with indexing via signatures on DP and Warrior forum

My site is blocked by digg. I now when I submit a new page to other social bookmarking sites, it does not help. I think digg is the only one which facilitates indexing in 24 hours by search engines. I’ve even got listed one of my site in 1 hour by submitting to digg.
